Ingredients
Half cup of Al-Matahin harees
Half cup of Al-Matahin jareesh
2 pieces of boneless chicken breast
1 cube chicken broth
1 peeled tomato
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups water
Instructions
- Wash both harees and jareesh, then drain
- Put the chicken and water in a deep saucepan, then boil for 5 minutes
- Remove the foam on the surface, then put the mash and grated cheese and leave on medium heat for one hour
- Add chicken cube and salt, then leave the mixture on low heat for 45 minutes with continuous stirring
- Add the tomato and leave on the same heat for 15 minutes
- Serve hot soup as a main dish
