Ingredients

3 cups Almatahin all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ tablespoon cocoa powder

¾ cup butter (150 g) in room temperature

¾ cup vegetable oil

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 tablespoon red liquid food coloring

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup laban (butter milk)

 

Frosting cream

50 g butter

200 g cream cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups icing sugar

Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180° degree. Prepare 9 inch cake pan and spry with butter spry
  2. In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredient, mix and set aside
  3. In separate bowl, whisk the butter, the oil and the sugar with electrical hand mixer until become light color mixture
  4. While whisking, add the eggs one at a time, the food coloring and the vanilla extract
  5. Add the dry ingredients mixture, then add the laban and mix
  6. Pour the mixture into the cake pan and bake for 45 minutes or until sting in wooden toothpick and comes dry, let cool
  7. Meanwhile prepare the frosting cream by mixing the butter and the cream cheese by electric hand mixer in medium size bowl until firm and creamy
  8. Add the vanilla extract and the icing sugar, mix until all of the sugar disappear
  9. Decorate the cake with the frosting cream, let it cool in the fridge and serve
